My Characters In Film

I realised I’ve never done the classic post on who I would envision playing my characters! This is partly because I have very specific images of my characters in my head, so it’s hard to find people who look like them. I feel like trawling through photos today, though, so here I go. I should note that I can’t really go on acting ability for any of these. It’s hard enough finding people who look like them, and anyway I don’t watch much tv or film.

Nikara

I’ve found two people for her. Astonishingly.

This girl seems to do a good line in frowning slightly. I like that in a potential Nikara.

Ashley Benson

I cannot get these pictures in a row …

I wasn't suspiciously hiding from mages, I just er, dropped my bag.

Benson does the emo gazing into space look much better than Robertson. And those other pictures amused me.

Chynor

Ben Barnes, without a doubt. He does look good in a cloak. Plus he’s tall, skinny, and not bad at looking confused. All vital things required for playing Chynor.

Hi, I'm Sevine, and I'll be ruining your life for the next seven years.

She looks nothing like Sevine, but the part requires someone you can really hate, so Fanning should do fine.

Incidentally, while Googling ‘teen brunette actress’ for inspiration, I found Justin Bieber.

I actually can’t find anyone for Pia. The only person I’ve ever seen who looks remotely like Pia is Snoops from TW. I’ll have to pressgang her into acting if this ever goes to film.

I have an idea.

No clue who he is, he has no acting credits, and he doesn’t look like the Coren in my head, and yet he looks like Coren. He could totally set someone on fire.

Aunt Nyeme

You panic far too easily, dear.

Ok, so Nyeme is pretty old, but she has one of those ageless faces, and is very graceful and dignified. I think Blanchett would be perfect if she was greyed up  little!

Palista is a pretty small part, but I like her so I cast her.

Who are you, and how do you know Greiarian?

Why? Because he’s awesome, he’s in HBO’s AGOT, and because I was totally obsessed with The Queen’s Nose as a kid. Plus I can see him living in a library.
